My name is Doug Davis. I’m a Technology Manager for the College of Health Sciences (CHS) here at Samford and serve under the Learning Applications Group. At CHS, I'm first in line to help faculty, staff, and students (on and off campus) with any technology issues whether computer or software related. I started at Samford under the School of Nursing as a technology manager in October 2009. My role expanded to CHS in 2014. I currently live in Trussville with my wife and our 5 ½-year-old daughter who just started and loves Kindergarten. When I’m not working I’m spending time with the family. I’m a former basketball player who turned into a runner when I moved here. I was born in Greensboro, NC and grew up in Marietta,GA. I went to college at LaGrange College in LaGrange,GA where I played basketball and studied computer science.
